The fourth edition of the project took place in the 2021-2022 season, at CAE- Centro das Artes do Espectáculo de Sever do Vouga and we called it “Second Home”. We started with the idea of ​​a theater, CAE, being able to become a second home, for the weekend, a space where families gathered once a week to get to know CAE.

In this edition, we worked with a group of families from Sever do Vouga. The open call sought to respond to a need felt by the CAE, that of bringing this segment of the public – families – closer to the theater and its program. The activities developed sought to create dynamics of proximity and familiarization of  the families with CAE. In this sense, the approximation process went through several moments:

– Getting to know all corners: first familiarization movement, which included a visit to the theater, getting to know the different spaces, including those that are closed to those who do not belong to the house and getting to know the teams that work there.

– Family meeting: the participants were invited to attend the shows that were part of the theater’s program. After the show, conversations were held with the group, mediated by the project team. Children and adults shared their impressions, perceptions; spoke about their experience as an audience.

– Open House: final event of this edition open to the community.
